Quarter Panel End Cap Question

Has any one fixed damaged ones? Can they be soldered, all metal or? Mine both have cracks at the bottom and a dent and crack in the center of one. Someone even whet through the trouble over 30 years ago to tap a broken stud and put a small screw to hold it on which worked fine all that time. I may buy some new ones. Has any one bought any repops and how was quality and fitment? I found three places to get them.

I just got a used pair from ebay we'll see what they look like when they get here! (33.00) 150-195 is just too much for me!

got one for mine about ten years back ,   from year one !  it was rubbish  ,  nice product till you tried to fit it  !  a little too small ! why make something wrong  held it up against the car , took a grinder to it  , long story trying to make it fit better , even though it was too short to the deck lid !  , gave up & threw in in the scrap metal pile 
  , guessed they have changed the designe  now as  , they would not be selling any ! 
& if BEA are selling them guess they are  made correct now

Mine were cherry till an A Hole ground them down sanding my trunk lid!

So I guess hardly anyone has gotten any reproduction ones and tried their fitment? Maybe I can fix mine with lead?

My used ones came in today and look fine. 33.00 shipped for both right and left. Keep an eye on ebay they come up all the time. I made sure to check with the seller that they had no issues before bidding.

I was looking off and on and never seen any. I guess I could put it in a search favorite and get notified of listings since I dont need it asap. I had a couple sets years ago and I put them somewhere??? A member here did offer to sell me ONE for a hundered.

Could be wrong but was told that they can't be really be repaired but it is a "pot metal" part. I found some good ones on ebay about a year ago.

Thanks Mike. I remember seeing the pic but couldn't remember where though. I am getting the left one from green69RT, so just need the pass side now.
