just bought me a 505 stroker kit i was wondering how much grinding im going to have to do? some said the sccat kit  does need hardly any.. ?? :Twocents:

Long Island RT

I used the 440 source 512 kit on a 440.  It  actually fit w/no grinding but was very close so I did do a little for good measure.  Mostly on the spot where the oil pick-up tube goes in, but I also did the bottom of the sleeves where the rod ends almost touched.

I used the same kit and it needed no grinding to the block. I used the 440 Source oil pickup and had to grind a little off where it screws into the block.
1970 Road Runner, 505 cid, 4 speed, GV overdrive, 3.91 gears
