I saw on the news tonight the a UPS truck heading out of Oregon to Utah burned up today. And yesterday they had this one going to Texas from St. Louis. :rotz:

A shackle broke????  They must have meant spring or spring hanger.  The only time I had a trailer drop like that was a broken spring and usually it's at the very front or rear of the spring.  Too bad for any kids that were expecting. :icon_smile_sad:

Now if that truck was coming from Oregon to DFw I could tell all my kin, even the ones we don't buy for, that their packages were on that trailer.  :icon_smile_big:

Thats too bad. If you didnt have insurance on a package you are screwed. If you did have insurance on a package you are still screwed because UPS will drag their feet for months on a claim and then want proof of how much everything cost on the insurance and then in the end you might get something.

To make a long story short anyone with a package on that truck is screwed!

UPS automatically insures all packages to $100...but I agree that they will probably drag their feet to get people their money. :yesnod:

They're screwed.

Ya know...you'd think that some passing motorist would flag down the truck driver before the fire really got out of hand. ::)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

The centre I piece for my grille is on it's way here (Canada) from Ano-Brite in Los Angeles via UPS.  I checked this morning and see that it has already crossed the border from Detroit to Windsor!

My Wife thinks we will be sitting around having a cozy family Christmas - ha!  I will slip out and install all of the trim on my grille!   :icon_smile_big:

I never had a problem using UPS either.  Hey Ian, I got a stray cop wheel I think yet in storage, you want it, it's your's just pay the shipping. Was off a ex-cop '84 Fury.

It's yours! I'll have to dig it out this weekend and try to find a box to put it in. That will be my biggest problem I think. How much does one of those wheels weigh anyway?
