Well I must be getting better at this stuff. Coming home from the show last night I noticed my tach runnin a little funny (hoping around a little bit) so I started checkin the wiring to the tach. That checked out ok so I started checking the connections to the voltage reguator, coil, and ignition box. Now problems there. I noticed the engine shaking a little bit in conjuction to when this all started happening so I started to take a look at my ignition wires and presto. There it was. One of the new wires I put on last week (the one close to the steering column on the driver side) somehow got yanked off the plug. Must have happened on the way to the show or something. Obviously plug wire too close to the steering column in that area.
Plugged that sucker back on and everything is back to normal. Guess I'm going to need to splice those wires down a little to be a tad bit shorter in that zone.

Well that problems been taken care of now.

Ordered up 90 degree bend boots and spliced down the wires to the proper lengths now.

Liz is good to go now.  :2thumbs:

this is something I have been trying to explain to my little brother...

when you can notice something is wrong with your vehicle and you know what to check based on your problem, and then how to fix it, and didn't have to pay someone $75 an hour with a 4 hour minimum to do it for you, there is no better feeling!
Remember the average response time to a 911 call is over 4 minutes.

The average response time of a 357 magnum is 1400 FPS.
