Yeah, your seats are AWESOME!

Who (or what workshop) did the work on it?

Just a language lesson : the work on seats means upholstery? I have no confidence in translators on the web.

Looking very nice.  On a side note, you will hate that rear view mirror. It hangs down so far that it makes a blind spot. I had the same one and changed it to a shorter one. Good job on the car.  :2thumbs:   Chuck.

Well its been awhile since my last post.  The resto was on hold for a few weeks due to parts and a few fire drill projects the shop had to attend to first.  But it's back in full swing again and will hopefully be done in a few weeks (in time for the Hot Rod Power Tour).  Here are a few new shots:

NOS bulkhead goes in so that the wiring can be finished

Battery is in...won't be long until she lights up!

A/C system is going in.  Josh is doing a great job, you'll barely be able to see all the lines when its fully installed

Test fitting the grill assembly...the grill will be installed soon

New interior panels from Legendary and hardware

Back seat and seatbelts are in

More pictures next weekend...

Lots of behind the scenes work going on this past week.  The grill should be in next week.  Josh made a killer set of brackets for the HID lights

Man, the car is fantastic!  :drool5: I just went through each post. Between your car and the '68 Elacruze is doing now as well, I get all excited at the thought of starting my '69 which might be soon if I get my '71 sold.

Can't wait to see the car finished. Best of luck...  :2thumbs:

Are you going with vacuum actuators or electric ones? :scratchchin:

Vacuum.  Those boxes are part of the HID light conversion (High Intensity Discharge).  Same lights used on most high performance cars today.  I also got LED bulbs for the rest of the car (including the rear taillight conversion of 500 LED lights).  Will definetly aid in driving at night and increase safety (they'll see me coming and going...haha).

I upgraded the wiring and dash components so that I could run a higher load (140 amp alternator) for these lights, the A/C system and Stereo without any issue.

May seem like overkill but I sold my 67 Vette for this Charger soley so I could take my 2 yr old son with me on cruises.  Safety is a must.

Always a top priority protecting your most precious cargo

Looking real nice. :2thumbs: So did you paint or powder coat the grill frame?

Bobby41909

Stopped by to the General today.  Lots going on.

Grill getting ready to go in (YEAH)

Steering colum was totally rebuilt (waiting on the turn signal lever)

Most of the splash shields are in now also

Josh is using a few of these things (sorry done know the exact term) to route the A/C and other lines so they are as hidden and clean as possible

More coming next week!

Bobby41909

Stopped by today, she's getting close...  :icon_smile_big:

Had an issue with the paint used on the grill support so we stripped it and repainted it.  This time I went with a matter finish instead of the glossy

More next week
