Question.

How do you guys keep those red cap batteries from getting water spots on them? I bought one last December for the car and at some of the shows where I had my hood up and it was raing some of the rain water would get on it and create really bad water spots. After which I would have to take the caps and cables off to be able to clean those off properly with water spot remover and get it to looks decent again. Is there anything you all have found that I can just wipe on with the caps and cables in place that eleviates this issue? I hate having to pull all that stuff off to clean the battery up all the time.

for all you goofy people that tell me to not take it out in the rain.... :boxing_smiley: I live in Washington State.

Just 6T9 CHGR

I use an aerosol battery cleaner that neutralizes the acid on the battery (which causes the water spots)
