Can we start a VIN listing for all movie/TV used Chargers?

Not counting the General Lees out there, I'm sure they are well documented.  I mean the Chargers of F&F, Blade, Death Proof, etc.

Remember the average response time to a 911 call is over 4 minutes.

The average response time of a 357 magnum is 1400 FPS.

That would suck.... I got left over parts from the Blade stunt car on my car but the VIN is long gone with the rest of the car, it was crushed and probably was recycled and turned into a Honda somewhere. What about all the GL guys in the same boat who got parts off the stunt cars but not the actual car frames and VINs?

There were three Blade Trinity cars. The other two guys disappeared from the site years ago I know one sold the vehicle and I have not been able to track down either vehicle the past few years. I think ChargerPunk might know if one is still in Vancouver. Last time I spoke to the guy I purchased the parts from in Vancouver he still had the door sills and tail lamps and said he regularly saw the other Charger. When I get the sills and tail lamps I will have every last remaining piece of the third Charger but I would never claim it to be the third blade car.

I am sure that beyond GL cars and the one blade car no other movie Chargers have been dismanteled. The FF Charger from the first movie that was wrecked was even up for sale last year on craigslist. I think there was only one Death Proof car and the owner is a new member on the site. I think the Death Proof member is the only movie vehicle owner who is an active member on the site from the movies you listed.

Well,.. if it's of any use, i heard from a (Angrier) source who says this new Nick Cage "Drive Angry" movie uses the old deathproof chargers.. but other then that I fail to see the point in such an endevor..  :shruggy:

Another way to exclude people and create sub groups? Kind of like the people who have Hemi cars, R/T's, or numbers matching that enjoy reminding others their Chargers aren't as neat or valuable?

There were more like a dozen of the DP Chargers.  Same thing with the Challys.

The bigger problem is that the studios are known to sometimes yank off the VINs when they sell cars.  It cuts their potential liability if the subsequent owners technically can't prove that the car was used onscreen.

Just from the standpoint that it should be documented.

Seems a little "loose" doesn't it? Anyone can pipe in with a VIN number and a good story.
