Definitely an Old Timer

After many years of no muscle car (after dozens in my youth) I have FINALLY bought a Charger RT.

This is the seller's photo. I've yet to get it back to Canada. It is a decent clean car, needing some detailing etc., but should be a good driver.

Definitely an Old Timer

It's interesting that "1969" is the best year (in some people's opinion).

I had my heart set on a 1968 (always been a fan of round marker lights), but this is the one that came available.

This car will be headed to London, ON just as soon as I can arrange to have it shipped. Here's an engine shot. I'm going to need to get rid of that air cleaner and the chrome valve covers, and arrange to get the A/C running again (funny how you think that when you're a kid that A/C is just a waste of horsepower and now at my advanced age is something you really don't want to live without.

yeah that motor and it's compartment looks pretty spiffy!  :popcrn:

Welcome aboard.  I believe those valve covers are the good Mopar ones, not the hard to seal chrome ones.  :2thumbs:
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I know how that goes, I've had 3 different vehicles in the shop in the last month getting A/C issues fixed.  And there's nothing wrong with 69's, Hell they're almost as good as a 68.  ;)   :stirthepot:

Heh heh. I knew what a WOT relay was back then, but couldn't afford to have the A/C fixed...

Nice car, even with all that extra weight in the grille.

Nice car and welcome back to the muscle car world. I'm out in mine right now. Funny how you like the round lights in the rear of the 68. That's what I don't care for. 69 ROCKS!
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

It looks to be a pretty nice Charger, hope all goes well during transporting, and happy motoring once you get it! :2thumbs:
