glove box hook

I've done some digging around, but can't seem to find anyone that sells this one - I need one of the glove box "hooks" for my '72.  I don't know if that's what it's really called, though - what I'm talking about is the metal hook that the glove box latch latches to.

Anybody know where to get these things?

I have one NOS around, but being I have broken 2 of them ( yes I have been idiot enough to broke them ) I can't ridd off it

Well, I can try parts wanted, but my assumption was such a part would probably be sold somewhere (since people like me would probably be happy to pay $10 for a part that probably costs $.01 to make )...  But I guess not

And don't say it's an idiot thing to break them!  I was being perfectly reasonable, it just broke all on its own!

I would never can you an idiot, parts are fallible. ( just like people ).  Good luck finding one, I'll keep my eyes open around here.  I have some friends that go to salvage yards .

I broke them simply adjusting them for a better closing. I prettended to be smart try to bend them a little bit. They broke on the screws attaching area.

same for mine - I just replaced the glove box latch (never got the key to the one that came with the car), and it wouldn't quite reach, so I tried to bend it out just a tiny bit... *SNAP*
