... but I think it's pretty cool just the same. ;D

I thought it had to be a 3 pedal car?

My buddy has a butterscotch '71 4 gear RR.  I used to absolutely hate those cars but I've really come around into liking them.

I was talking to someone @ Carlisle that had a car with those V25 stripes.  He was proud of the fact his car was the only one there that came from the factory with them.  Must be rare?

Congrats Jim! LOVE the car!!! I absolutley love '71-'72 Plymouth B-bodies.  :2thumbs: I almost picked up a FJ6 '71 GTX for $500 back in November 2009. It was really rusty and missing most of the parts. I was going to get it until the owner decided to cut the firewall out of it ::)

I think the number of V21/V25 cars is something like 400.

Unfortunately, the curse of the yellow Plymouths continues to hex me.

In route to Columbus, we lost the transmission about 30 miles from home. 3rd gear and reverse disappeared.

So... after getting a ride home in the rollback, we reloaded and headed out in my Mazda. I'll deal with the transmission issue next week.

:drool5: did they make a superbee convert in '70?..

There was supposedly 4 '70 concept 'verts, whereabouts unknown.  But I don't think there were factory Bee verts in any year.

TheAutoArchaeologist

That Bee has an interesting story... lets just say, it might just be the only "real" Superbee Vert (long story)... Look for a followup in MCG.

TUFCAT

From that angle.....it looks like the C-stripes go into the doors (like they should've done) :D

There's a guy up here with a white on white' 70 vert and he claims it's one of the factory 'concepts'.....

Google is your friend,.. i almost bought this very car for 14K it's showroom stock under 20K miles.. but alas, I wanted to finish the R/T..  :yesnod:

maxwellwedge

The Toronado was front wheel drive as well - major doings in the 60's for a big engined tank! Always liked them - My friends dad had a gold 66. It would eat through the snow and go anywhere in the winter.

Oh, and by the way - Very nice car Mike - Congrats!!      :2thumbs:
