I've seen worse looking cars like that watermelon clone in MCG.There is also some worse looking "so called restored " cars on here. Easy to critize others I guess.

It's an old Mopar Muscle car, regulary being raced and beat on, like Ma intended.  I don't see any problem....
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

You mean this one??
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

I am very much a person who will say that I may not like some cars but respect the fact that is what they wanted.

I guess this guy wanted fatter tires   those do not look like they would fit under the wheel... Now he could have cut a radius around the wheel well, chopped up the frame rails and done several other things.

Not what I like but I respect that may be what he want.... Maybe we could have me trade in for a NEW CHARGER DAYTONA?   would not mind seeing one of those chopped up :icon_smile_approve:

'CUDA360

I like it.. The yellow car....

I would change the headlight doors, funky hood and make the wheels match...

The only reason it looks bad in the first pic is 'cause while it's launching off the line the springs are pushing the rearend down and raising the body up.    Just like they are supposed to   :icon_smile_wink:

The Ghoul

the worst one ever, just look at how pixelated it is!!
I still stand by what I said ' I have never seen a bad looking wing car (superbird daytona)'
I think the most odd one I have ever seen was the one that some guy converted into a stationwagon because he was wheel chair striken but he didnt want to give up the car he loved. I used to have pics of it but I cant find them.

He hasn't done anything permanent to alter it and I kind of like seeing something that someone is using as it was intended instead of shipping it off to Barrett-Jackson with a million dollar reserve.  It's probably hard enough to own one of those cars in the UK but to own one and race it, is cool.

73rallye440magnum

Nothing wrong with that. Some crazy guy around here has a GT500 and a GT350 convertible. He lives on a gravel road and drives the piss out of them. He also has a 428 SCJ and two other GT500s in his shed. The back of the quarters are black from all the burnouts. I think its great.

The fuel cell in the Daytona is out of a world war ll bomber plane (he told me its nice & light), the car use to be kept in a multi storery car park & the nose cone got bend so it was removed & replaced with a standard 70 charger grill. It run's either high 9's or low 10's i cant remember which.

Darkness

IMO, I see nothing wrong with it. At least it's been driven and used for what Ma Mopar built them for in the first place. It may not be restored to factory correct. Maybe he wanted a unique and nice driver? At least it's not rotting out in a barn somewhere. People are so quick to judge sometimes.

THE CHARGER PUNK

no the car is fine its the giant tires and rims and that horrible lookings hood-MATT

Charger_Fan

I wish I owned the damned thing.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Ghoste

I'd probably change the hood too but in his defence, it likely isn't as easy to find aftermarket hoods over there.

The Ghoul

The only thing that I see that is not quite my taste is the black scoops on the fenders but Im all about the black hoods  ;D
I love the old school throw back on the biggest rear tires you can stuff back there! Reminds me of the good old days when I wasent alive!

The yellow daytona is real. Its in England, its was a green car with a black interior, 440, the nose cone is something someone made

Troy
Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Analytical thinking apparently is as well.
Is the car real (non photo shop)? Or is it a real wing car?
Still not clarified.

Do photo shop cars come with 440s from the factory? What part are you asking about any way? As far as I can tell the conversation is about a yellow Daytona with fat tires on the back. F8 69 CHARGER PUNK started the thread and uk_69_500 has responded multiple times about the car in question. I would assume that the car is real and would therefore be a real wing car as well. It would also be a real even if it wasn't a Daytona. For the purposes of this thread I guess we are discussing the digital representation of a real car but until someone can ship solid objects across the internet that's what we get to work with. I suppose I could be wrong but I'm pretty good with the English language and reading comprehension. Perhaps I'll quote the entire thread with all of the relevant parts highlighted in the future but, as a general rule, I only quote the specific parts that I'm referencing. Analysis is usually not required (thinking is optional).
