Gumball Rally (1976) DVD anyone?

Kind of an unusual request... If someone who has the DVD could go foreward to near the end of the movie, when the blonde girl is waving down the cars on the road, there should be a shot with a parking lot in the background and viewable in the parking lot is the passenger side of a dark green fastback Charger.

If someone could take a screenshot of that and email it to me or post it here, I'd be very happy!

Hmmm...I've only got the VHS version, but I  :bump: your thread back up. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Sounds like someone is trying to win a bet!

I'd guess it sounded something like:

"Yeah, I really thought that the 1st gen Charger is Cannoball was pretty cool!"

"Huh, Dude, what are you sayin', it was a 2nd gen Charger in Cannonaball?"

How much is on the line Jon - $10.00?

WHOA!!!

I goofed. The movie I'm talking about is the Gumball Rally...

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074597/

Same idea, and the movies were even filmed in the same year. I just get them confused... Cannonball, Cannonball Run, Cannonball Run II, Speed Zone, Gumball Rally, etc.

I wonder if they even make the Gumball Rally movie on DVD?

If any one has a shot of the green 3rd gen R/T In the orrigional gone in 60 seconds (one that gets crushed by a garbage truck) I would appreciate it.

Wow, ask and thou shalt recieve!

Well at least it looked like a Charger on the 13" TV I saw it on. Maybe my eyes were just seeing what they wanted to see? lol

Thanks RT!

To somewhat redeem myself, I did spot a fastback Charger in the original Gone in 60 seconds...

Well done Rolling Thunder!

I believe that the blonde was refered to as "Plan Alpha".  To set up Franco as he could not resist a large set of jugs on a beautiful woman!  Who could?

I loved this movie back in "the day". Whenever we were going out my friends and I used to call each other on the phone and start the conversation with "GUMBALL!!".

You have WAY to much free time Jon. ;D I watch old movies just for the cars also and have way to many rotton movies simply because of the cars in them.

I was gonna ask him if he jerked off when saw the 1st gen in the movie but I figured that wouldn't be a very nice thing to say!
