kick down linkage?

Does everbody hook their linkage up or do just bypass it and manualy down shift? and does it have to be hooked up for everything else to work properly Thanks  tom

If you leave it disconeccted your trans will burn up. Unless you intall a manual valve body.

then make sure it is adjusted correctly or you'll still burn it up.

HELLLL NOOOO I have linkage. i was just wondering if it needed to be hooked up the whole set up looks like it dosen't work very smooth i'll have it hooked up right i was hoping i could elemate it and just work throttle cable but oh well the throttle is for another thread i need help  with  thanks  tom
