Hey guys, I found one of these wasting away in a storage compound. I'm trying to buy it before it rots away. Anyone know about these & what they're worth??

I have seen a few go for around $6000 to $10,000 (10,000 being a unrestored low milage car in mint condition). If it has the number decals on it, they are worth a little more cause the decals came in the trunk, and were dealer installed. But most never did actually get put on the cars. The blue Plymouth version of the Kit Cars are worth more as well. I could of bought one (red Dodge version) in the '80s for $1,500 that was in good shape, but ended up getting my first 4x4 instead. I regret it now. I'd be all over that car if I was you. Are all the spoilers on it yet?

Definetly not a high volumne production car, but tend to get hate it/love it reactions. I've seen them SELL for $1500 to $6000. I've seen them being peddled for as much as $10k, but I've never seen one sell that high. They do have the E58 performance 360 and all the specialized aero aids that make them unique.

Unless you really like them, they aren't something you may want to pursue. They aren't real money makers from an investment standpoint and flipping them is tough to do. But if you could pick it up cheap enough, sure, go for it.

after seeing one on allpar, i think they are pretty unique and i'd love to have one to cruise around in.
Remember the average response time to a 911 call is over 4 minutes.

The average response time of a 357 magnum is 1400 FPS.

I like the Super Coupe better but wouldn't kick one of the Petty cars out of the garage either.

I know someone with some NOS sheet metal for one of those cars.

Thanks for all the input guys, I have a few pics, but they are too large & I don't know how to make them smaller. I do know that the car was at Carlisle back in '97. The guy may have bought it there & brought it here to Canada.

Host them on Photobucket or imageshack then, and paste the picture links here. Or, email me the pictures, and I'll downsize them, and post them.
