Seriously, how do you like Ft. Smith? I recently returned from Iraq and worked with a few cool Ft. Smith AFB gentleman and lady......

Steve,
Good to see you here on the Forum. I talked to you a few months ago by phone. I'm the guy that manages the body shop at Reeder-Simco GMC in Fort Smith. I didn't realize that you had this car. I'll try to get with you sometime and look at it if you don't sell it. You need to drop by and check out some of my mopars. I keep some here at the dealership, some in storage at my home in Greenwood and the rest in a storage building there in Greenwood. We'll get a couple of them out and go for a drive through the Ozark mountains or the Ouchita mountains...your choice.

Wow, that quite an interesting story! :2thumbs:
I bet your car wasn't made very far apart from this one then...which makes me wonder if this one is still around somewhere?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

True.

My point is lets not make it a "how much ya want, wanna trade my Honda for it?" type of thread

The good thing is, I don't have a honda, I have CASH.  Maybe he wants to trade that for it, that's why I asked.

Nice find, Chris! :yesnod:

Is that brochure yours & you took that pic? If so, can you see close enough to tell the position of the lock know on the door?

Then that means you read the ad and know how much he wants.......

Why ask again?

PM the poster if you have further questions about the sale of the car.

Leave this topic for historical info only which was my original request.....thats all nothing more.

Thanks

Did we ever come to a conclusion as to where this photo was taken?  I do recall us all discussing it but not sure of the outcome.  I would like to go there on my vacation!

Looks a lot like some of the homes near west palm beach.

So if this car is # 39, where is #1-#38???  Are these cars still around??

What is the lowest number on the Registry, Chris???

Just 6T9 CHGR

100039 is the lowest I have so far.  It might very well be the first Charger produced

FWIW 100001-100038 dont necessarilly have to be Chargers........

Ohhhh, that is interesting.  So, they could be anything from that plant in 1968.
When did the ads start for the new cars being made that year???

If the number 39 car was built on 7/28/68, wouldn't there be more cars built for the ads????

The blue one, the green one, and who can forget that bronze one.

Mass_Mopar

I think I have a picture of your car hanging on my wall   ;)
