Hello everyone! We just purchased a 68 charger r/t with a 1966 426 hemi! The motor is stock stroke (3.750) with new Oliver rods, 8.5:1 Ross pistons, and new Mopar perforance crankshaft! It has Stage 2 head with max porting! Fresh from machine shop! It also has a brand new 871 BDS blower kit (complete). It also came with a roller camshaft and lifters, but I don't think the cams is right for a blower application! Here are the specs for the current camshaft.

.651 intake lift
.596 exhuast lift
282* @ 50*
104 lobe seperation

So I was wondering if you blower guys can point me in the right direction, so we can have a killer street machine!

I've got a Hemi but no blower. No experience with one either. :-\

How about calling Comp Cams? Their tech/sales folks have a pretty good reputation. 800-999-0853

They also have a forum at the Comp site, you should ask the same questions over there.

Here's a Comp Cam designed for blown Hemis. http://www.compperformancegroupstores.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CC&Product_Code=24-721-10&Category_Code=426HemiSolidRlr

Get the Heads flowed, then Call a Tech for some specific Lobe imput as per the flow data.

Good advice...flow numbers will point you in the right direction  ;)

My buddy has a 112* Lsa solid roller in his 440 with a split pattern 256/262 duration bumpstick. It runs great and is quite mellow on the street  :2thumbs:

Well the heads are ported all the way!!!!! The guy who owns it doesnt want to keep the cost down to a minimum. So he does not want to flow the heads!!!!

I was thinking 112-114* for lobe seperation!!  And .625-.700 lift!!! Some where in that range!!!!
