do you heat the dynamat with a heat gun to get it to form fit to the floor?

i think i'm gonna install dynamat in my car to help cut down road noise...

Hi.
Thanks for the responce.
I ´ve been on a mini tour with the band i play in, so i could not respond until now.

The Dynamat i bought from Summit http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?Ntt=+DYC-20455&x=27&y=5&searchinresults=false&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&N=115&target=egnsearch.asp

You don ´t need a heatgun, it folds easy to the countors of the floor.
I think it was expensive, but it is a quality product

The dashboard is a 68 charger dash, not the one that was in the car.
It was missing all the padding so i tought i will give it a new life trying to fabricate something new.
I am installing a Kenwood DDX 7025 http://www.audioimages.co.uk/products/nav_multimedia/kenwood/ddx7025.html
I had a lot of work with the heater and controll panel that i took out of a new VW Polo, but it is very smal and light in weight and new spare parts are easy to get.
I like the VDO gauges they are white, but when you turn on the green LED the face on the gauges turn black.
I also converted to el. windows.
