Has anyone tried ceramic coating exhaust manifold bolts?

Seems like it might be a good way to help manifold fasteners keep from corroding and prevent the constant heating/cooling issues that cause them to seize. But I'm just speculating. anyone here tried it?

Would be curious as to how you would tighten a ceramic coated bolt without doing damage to it. :scratchchin:

do not coat the boltheads with anything. sockets will never fit right .

I was under the impression from talking to a business that does ceramic that it's a pretty thin coating. Thinner than powder coating from what I can tell, but I'm no expert.

What about electroless nickel?
