is there a visible difference in big and small block k members?..... i need to identify which one my car has. i could just run the vin # i guess, but with my luck someone changed it  at one time or another. :shruggy:

Ghoste

Are you asking as it pertains to a 67 model?

Automatic and all V8's were all the same k-member in 67 - may have a "15" coin welded on. The manual trans cars had the same part number but may have a "16" coin....So in other words, all 67 V8 k-members should be the same for small block or big block.

excellent.....that makes the motor search much easier........i was going to build it as a show car with a built 440?(already have) but my plans have changed. i am just going to make the 67 a driver which my son can help me enjoy......

any ideas???? as far as durability, availability, price for a decent running used motor....i  am thinking a 318 or a 360 will be easiest to come by......

I don't know if they ever used them in a Charger or what manifolds you would need, but I have a good running 413 that I have no current plans for.

It's out of an old motorhome. I'm about 20 miles south of Mansfield Ohio, 60ish miles or so north of Columbus.
