He could make another $744.95 if the other three auctions he has going all sell.

Lets see here:

  • QuoteI purchased it direct from Chrysler when I was a Factory Rep. I have a total of 7 brand new Hemi Cuda's in storage from the 70 & 71 model years, including 2 rare convertables. All have less than 30 total miles on them.
  • Horrible feedback as a seller.
  • Just a generic picture - will get "real" pictures later
  • Cars stored out of state.
  • A single picture for a 2.5 mil auction..

Sorry, this guy is full of crap. Even if a car does exist I am still with this guy..

QuoteI would be interested in the car, but your previous feedback is horrible. I can only assume the car is probably a clone with the odometer rolled back.

When I first saw this ad there were no questions posted at E-Bay. Now it gets interesting.  :scratchchin:

Is this a hoax? No VIN, no documentation, fake picture. I asked him if he's willing to post an accurate description. Wait and see. :shruggy:

It is a real phone number and car company, for what it's worth.

I just received this message from the seller:

I understand your concerns, but please believe us this is not a hoax. The
documentation is with the car, and it is out of state.  We will provide
documentation and VIN information to serious buyers.  We withhold that
information at this time due to security issues.  We do expect any serious
buyer to verify everything we are saying before closing a deal.

Ya think that trying to get 2.5mil for a car might motivate them to get all this stuff before they put the auction up. Not to mention they are going on 2 days of "trying to get it". I'm guessing it's all a hoax to generate hits on their website. Really STUPID way to do it but even negative press is press. At best these guys are a$$ clowns. :loser:

Seems fishy but his last name Reeves was mentioned. Maybe he's a relative of the late Greg Reeves?
I say anything is possible and if its true then this is history in the making.
Just seems weird, he's in Arizona, the cars are in Texas and he's going to post pics on a website in North Carolina.

for that price the top would have to go down anyway   :Twocents:
GO SELL CRAZY SOMEWHERE ELSE WE ARE ALL STOCKED UP HERE

1BAD68

Has anyone heard of "Mike Reeves" or the "Reeves Collection"?
Some people asking questions on the auction seem to know of his collection, you would think a collection of never titled HEMI cars would be pretty well known but I've never heard of it.

From the seller:

"THE CARS WILL BE VIEWED AT THE LAMAR ST. POLICE STATION DALLAS TEXAS" and

"BANK OF AMERICA ... BRANCH MANGER WILL HAVE SIGNED TITLE" and

"THE SALE OF THIS CAR WILL BE CONDUCTED AT THE POLICE STATION".  Those are his caps, not mine.

Yes, the price does seem a bit high, but I see this tactic used quit often on E-Bay.  He might be just fishing, getting his car out there with hopes of a offer down the road.  Great way to advertise your car.

Well isn't there a big hole in his add due to mentioning that he also has 2 HEMI E body convertibles. both of which are also untitled? I don't think that there are even 2 of the total produced that are unaccounted for and I have yet to have heard of one of them that isn't titled and well known by many in the hobby.
