last weekend I went with my dad to Huron OH to an MG Rallye.  We drove his truck to Cincinatti and picked up an MG owned by the guy who rebuilt the drive train on his 1953 MG TD.  This guy has a 52 TD and wanted my dad to drive it to the meet.  My dad wanted me to go with him.  I have to say I had a good time and saw some neet cars.

Nice looking group of MG's. I have a Jaguar of the same age, 1953, but it is beat looking. Thanks for sharing.

What do you call a Lucas refrigerator?  A stove.

Thanks! Why do the Brits drink warm beer? Because they have Lucas refrigerators!

I saw a couple drive through town.  I didn't know that's where they were going.   Sorry I missed it.  Hope you grabbed a burger at the Sand Bar.

I think Lucas was actually "Knighted" at some point.  His formal name over there is  Sir (first name) Lucus - "Prince of Darkness".

The cardiac patient bolts up in bed after surgery and and shouts at the doctor,  "What do you mean, a Lucas pacemaker?!"

We did not make it to the Sand Bar.  There was a dinner cruize out on lake Erie and a night at the Angry Bull, the rest of the time we either ate at the hotel or meals provided for the show.

Just as good.  It's not often that you can get good prime rib -  in the middle of a corn field.

LUCAS Co. motto: "Home before dark."  Love the old English stuff! (I'm a Triumph fan myself!)

I should have posted up here before we left.  Might have been able to meet up with some local Charger guys.  Just wasn't thinking :brickwall:
