Well it's been a long time (years) since I've posted anything on here although I still scan through the posts on occasion. Anyway two weeks ago I bought a 1970 New Yorker for $900.00. It's only got 58K miles on it and has the original running 440 and a sure grip rear end. Although it had been garage kept for most of its earlier life, it sat outside and undriven since 1994. Of course the vinyl top had to deteriorate and let water into the trunk which rusted out the lower quarter panels and also the carpet inside was soaking wet from water getting into the passenger compartment somewhere. My plan is to use the entire drive train, AC, and cruise control in my 68 Charger along with anything else I can use. The power window motors, wiring and switches will go for spares to my 70 Super Bee. I'm not sure though if the the rear end on a "C" body is the same on a "B" body. I may just have to swap out the guts into my original non-sure grip housing on the Charger. As for the rest of the New Yorker, I'll either sell, junk, or part it out.
