I just moved here from Washington state, and members nearby? Anyone know of any cruises, car shows or anything of that nature around here? Recommendations for good shops?

Yeah, make certain your A/C works very well, make certain your coolant systems is in top shape.  Drink lots of water, not sodas, beer or other caffeinate drinks.  Heat stroke sucks big times.   Especially in the summer months.

As for you main question, not really.  Never hung out in Yuma much.  There are some awesome dunes to ride with off road vehicles.
