I was looking for fuel pump at work today and came across this headlight aiming kit, i have not seen one in years. So, i figured i would try it out, it works good. Anyhow, just though i would share.

We used those back in 88 here at the plant, in the audit room, they work quit well. We use to have a lot of the spare parts, but not anymore, headlights come in a composit unit now. Not hard to work on if you ever drop them, you can use needle nose pliers to bend the mirrors around if you have to. I belive they were made by the Hoppy company.

It is the same units, first you have to get the elevation of the garage floor and it will take it into consideration when adjusting the head lights.

We have those at work too and they work great. Very quick and eliminates a lot of guesswork.

The states with a State inspection program like Va., have to use some sort of optical aimer on headlights..You wouldn't believe how many people think they can install a headlight bulb in the newer cars and will have one of 'em spot lightin' the tops of trees....
