Saw it just now while I was watching powerblock. I immediately thought of a bunch of the talented individuals on here that could already have their own show.  Too many of you have talent that is not fully exploited yet.
http://www.powerblocktv.com/site3/

Type jobs in the search block or contact the show if you can't locate the jobs.

Hell, get together and start your own show and have Mike Musto host it.  That would be even better.

I'd tell Jeff to tell all the boys in Mass but something tells me Chuck,Blair, Jon and Dennis are all set.  :2thumbs:
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Interesting... I know a lot of the networks are looking for automotive related content. The key is to get stuff on the air that people will actually watch.

I would have a problem Trying to convey to the masses that actually think they can rebuild/build a car from parts car status in one f***in' week....I wouldn't last ten min.

I can see the tag line now "HEY guys, today we will be building a Big Block Chrysler"...

Actual line said by me "HEY dumbass, this can't be done in a half an hour, so quit while your ahead"...

My women chasing days are over, been married over 20 years now.  :shruggy:

I'm still not convinced Courtney (Carl?) is a chick.  :smilielol:

There's no way she's a he....

As for the position, Thomas @ BK Auto has accepted Powerblock's offer.. it's a new 1/2 hour series... "EXTREME BONDO". Pretty cool. Each week he'll build a completely street legal car out of Bondo and sell it to some poor clueless sucker.

although..........This is an "odd" picture...

A drawback to working on the projects on that show is everything gets crushed after completion. They save running gear and add ons, but the bodies are crushed to prevent liability. So you can have fun building, but the end result is predictable, it has to be destroyed.

Really?? I saw a Hot Rod TV episode where they went and visited "former projects" that were given to 'lucky viewers'. Maybe those were built in an hour, not 30 minutes...

Brock Lee

Yup, Powerblock crushes them about twice a year. I have been on the set numerous times and watched the inside storage area fill up, get broken down, then hauled away to be crushed. The owner of RPM told me there have been a couple he has even wanted, but can't start making exceptions. They did have a couple cars I saw hanging around longer, maybe for promos, but they ended up being crushed eventually. They do not leave RPM's ownership until they are first compressed into a block.

Horsepower TV sold off some of their old projects recently including the lime green mopar, old blue hair...and the "Super Nova" project was sold to a guy that repainted it and is now racing in NHRA. Not to mention, Stacy Davids "Copper Head" truck was sold on Ebay a couple years ago. Doubt they will crush that turbocharged '55 Chevy they've been working on.

But that's not saying at one time they didn't destroy vehicles...I know for a fact Chevrolet, Dodge and Ford crush all their first run cars that they use for testing and even some that are used for publicity purposes.  :2thumbs:
