Does an 82 Dodge Diplomat have the (large) disc brakes that you have to use the 15" wheels with or can you use 14" rims? :shruggy:

I would guess so. I have never seen a Diplomat wearing 14" wheels.
Imagination was given to man to compensate him for what he is not;  a sense of humor to console him for what he is.      Francis Bacon

WANT TO BUY:
Looking for a CD by  'The Sub-Mersians'  entitled "Raw Love Songs From My Garage To Your Bedroom"

Also, any of the various surf-revival compilation albums this band has contributed to.
Thank you,    Kenny

Years ago, I bought a Diplomat cop car for $110.

I bought it for the 15x7 cop car wheels that were on it.

I took the wheels off of it, and sold it to a Friend for $110, on the understanding that he had to bring a set of wheels with him.

He brought a set of 14" rallies with him, and we drove the car up onto his trailer with the rallies on it.

I don't remember any clearance issues...

But, it's been a long time...

Thanks, I have done some research with part # since I put this post up and a Diplomat takes the same rotors as a Valore. :popcrn:

Not all 14" or 15" wheels will have the same clearance issues, it's a "some will, some won't".
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
