It should depend on what kind of ride/performance your looking for.  Also what other upgrades.
Thicker = Firmer

I have the 1.00 but can't tell you how they feel as my car is not quite done...

This might help you decide. I went to Firm Feel to buy a pair of t-bars a few weeks ago and they had probably twelve .94" bars and four 1.0" bars. Choices, choices, I couldn't decide and so Dick knocked $20 off a pair of .94 bars because he had so many more of those. :coolgleamA: Made my decision so much easier. Not saying he'll extend the same discount because his inventory count might have changed but you might ask. I can tell you he had two fewer .94 bars after I left. Also, FWIW, Dick said there's not a whole heckuva lot of difference between .94 and 1.0 bars performance-wise, I mean it's only .06 of an inch difference. I figured since I'm bumping up to the factory R/T size at .94 from the small base-model size, that's probably good enough.

I bought the 1.06 bars, since I already had the R/T stock bars and thought them too soft.

Hey, if I don't like them somebody else will, right? Won't cost much to swap out later.

I got 1.06" DAMN PLENTY HAPPY !!

helps to get a lower ride with more less same spring effect than stock bars at stock ride height.

well my stock bars were .94 or .96 on my car though, not .80s like mosltly of older Chargers.

I have 1.0 bars in mine and they are better than stock but I'd go larger for myself.

another factor is the Sway bar, not everything is the T bar. A thicker T bar will be harder to get a lower ride too ( if wished ). Need to consider the shock too!!!

is a combo play between all the suspension parts

uhhhh     i have an obvious question...     1) what are you planning on doing with the car ?    2) What is your engine combo ?

I am running a .96" bar on my 68...     everyone says it's too small...     so I mention that i'm running a 1 3/8" sway bar and am running a 6.1L hemi which weighs around what a light small block weighs...       i think my gar will be comfortable but handle great due to the weight and sway bars    :shruggy:

It has a 383 camed etc.. street car but would take to drag strip now and again!!! and i do like to cut corners also. my T bar will decide the size of my front sway bar and shocks. thanks  tom

Just for reference the stock TB on Police, 440 and 426 B body is 0.92 according to my shop manuel.
