There are many colors acceptable but To me Corvette flame red looks the most correct, plus if Rich Sephton says that is What they used at least the majority of the time, that's good enough for me. ;)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
