We had a post on this a few weeks ago. Someone even has a black one with red hood stripes. But I think that is a Canada one. Every time I try to get one here, There sold out :-\

I can never find one either.  I keep telling the local outlet they should be giving me one for all the money they've made off me buying Charger parts.

I guess I need to look for ti  , different to have a 70 not a 69

Big Lebowski

There's alot of little silver colored '70 Chargers on e-bay too, I try to steer around that stuff while surfing for a killer deal on some NOS "Diamond in the goats ass" Mopar parts. :D
"Let me explain something to you, um i am not Mr. Lebowski, you're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the dude, so that's what you call me. That or his dudeness, or duder, or you know, el duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing."

I guess I got lucky.  I called our local Napa store today and they said they had one in stock.  They put my name on it for me to pick up tomorrow.  It will look good next to my 69 R/T and 69 Daytona F6, 1:24 scale cars.

I was suprised to see one a couple months ago in the NAPA in Cheney, WA. It was orange if I remember right. For $30 I passed on it... maybe it is still there? I was going to post on this board about seeing it, but I just forgot.

Cripes, for all the money I've spent at my local NAPA, they should give me one too. Looks like I've gotta go bug them.  - dm

I hope you have better luck than me.  They just start laughing now as soon as they say, "is there anything else?" and when I say "yes", they immediately say "no" before I can tell them I need one of those 70 Chargers.  I have a feeling they have one stashed under the counter somewhere and I'll get it eventually.  Probably after I quit bothering them.  :yesnod:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Well, I got it this morning.  It is Orange with black stripes on the hood.  It is of the same quality as the Danbury mint 69 Charger R/T.  It has working headlight covers, doors, trunk lid, hood, & steering.  It also has a Napa sticker on the rear deck pan by the back window.  Does anyone have an idea how many of these were made?  Great price for the car.  $30.00.  Concidering the 69 Charger R/T from the Danbury mint was a lot more expensive than that.  Definately worth getting if you collect diecast cars.

The NAPA decal on the trunk lid is kind of a bummer, but I'll get over it.
Opening headlight doors?? COOL! :boogie:

Non acetone nail polish remover on a Q tip will take the NAPA logo right off = RUB LIGHTLY and use remover sparingly   = so it only affects where you touch with Q tip... use it like an eraser , then follow up with some auto wax !!! I have bothr the V2 Napa and the black Snap On / Auto Value 70 Chargers. I changed the tires on the V2 and removed logos off of both here are some pics !!!

Best 1/4 run so far 12.7 @ 108 mph

I have one on order. They told me they had a hard time getting one for another guy.

Matches my "70 pretty d@mn well! :2thumbs:

We don't have a Napa anywhere around here, or I'd see if I could just pick one up.

If anyone can snag an extra, I'll gladly send the money for the car/shipping/beer. :D

It's rare allright, but I don't think it's $650 rare! :image_294343:

It just makes me nervous.

And when paying for crap is that easy, I tend to go a little crazy. :D

Yeah, I placed a bid on it, but also contacted the seller directly.

We got to talking Chargers, and he owns a "70 R/T in GoManGo. :2thumbs:

Nice guy to boot.

Has a second model, and I'm just going to buy that one outright.
