1971 imperial lebaron louvered hood factory????

I saw a hood for a 1971 imperial louvered hood. The guy says it was a factory option for 440 cars? He said it has 260 louvers in a v pattern that's filled in with the louvers. I've never heard of or seen anything like it. Anyone know for sure?
