Where does the negative battery cable bolt to on a 69 440 air car? Does it go to the same intake manifold bolt as a non a/c car? I know the return spring bracket no longer is bolted there but to the compressor bracket.I have my ground bolted to the side of the compressor but I don't think it is correct.

Yes....it bolts to the forward intake manifold bolt...and is retained by a small spring steel rubber coated clip that is bolted to the lower compressor mounting bolt/nut
