Wow!! Dude, thats sooooo nice  :drool5: Awesome job. I helped strip a 72 formula with a 400, 4 speed, and a 12 bolt years ago. It was very rusty. The same color with a black gut. Johnny :METAL:

Nice car.

I love the second generation Firebirds and Trans ams  :coolgleamA:

I've owned a few myself.

I wouldn't mind having another one.

Someday.

:2thumbs: looks like a right proper job, but I'm wonderin' why in the under side shot up on the lift it's red?..  :shruggy:

Nice car!  I am a Trans am fan, too.  Have a 77 SE "bandit" car.

I think that is supposed to be the factory primer?

I had a 76 GP LJ with a 455...hardly a HO TA but it was a fun car for a 18 YO.

The T/A's built at the Norwood plant had there body dipped in a red oxide and then they were painted, so no paint on the bottom like Mopars. It should have some Lucerne blue overspray and the black paint from the firewall should be overspray as well. No question the body colored bottom & engine compartments on the Mopars looks better!
Thanks!

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

MY favorite year for the Trans Am cars....I'm restoring my cousin's 1973 Camaro as well...Your posts serve as good reference photos....Helluva job..Car looks good...
