For Sale 1966 Numbers matching, one owner Charger, 383 4 Speed car. Needs restored, has been sitting for 20 plus years. The trim is very nice. The car is all there, nothing missing. Also a 1966 Coronet parts car goes with the Charger. The Coronet has good fenders, and doors, and other parts. Coronet has a 383 drag motor in it (short block). $3500 takes all. Needs some frame rails, no telling what the floor and rest of the frame looks like. I would say not worth it.

i would offer him 1500 if he plans on doing the framerail replacement.  definitely not worth 3500.

I agree. Also looks like it needs quarter replacement, and I don't think anyone is making quarter skins for 1st gens are they?

Yes, they are making them...but very cheap quality and it don't fit well

Ghoste

It's cool but it's a parts car.  Maybe worth what he's asking depending on the Coronet and it's "drag" engine but likely not a rip off.

rav440

here is the coronet 500 the 1/4s are shot atleast the lowers anyway . im going to pass being my runner is 10 times better than these 2 cars thanks for replying so fast and letting me know that he is over priced as i figured .

that coronet looks like a 67, not a 66...and the rear quarters between the charger & coronet ain't the same anyway

Ghoste

Yep, definitely a 67 Coronet and as Bryan also knows and mentioned there is a pretty short list of parts that easily interchange between the two.

rav440

owner said the doors and fenders from the coronet will fit the charger . will they ?  :shruggy:

I wouldn't touch either - at any price. Maybe if you're a genius with a welder and don't care much for originality but that's not me.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

If it was closer and was $1500 would be a nice donor for a 4 spd conversion I'd like to do.

Yes.

If I had the cash and a way to get it here, I'd give it a loving home.

yes, they will bolt on, but you will have to fill in the holes from the Coronet trim and make new holes for the Charger trim to be attached

Some issues at the front of those fenders to get the headlight buckets to fit too aren't there?
