Console door pics

Just picked up a complete console for my 69. Came with a 68 lid though and it wasn't attached.(I plan to use either carbon fibre or brushed aluminium inserts to cover the top pieces)
Might be a silly request but can someone please post a pic of how the hinge should be fitted correctly? I notice it is longer and has a creaseline on one side. Does that side attach to the lid or the console?
