I was recommended to change out the wiring system/wires in my car. How much are the replacements? and around how much should I expect to pay to have it professionally changed?

thanks.

Spark plug wires or wires as in electrical system?  If you go with factory spark plug wires, I would contact Bill Alphin of A&M High Tech auto as he has exact duplicate original type wires.  If you are not a fan of the stock look, there is a company on here I think called Firewyres or something like that which are larger diameter than stock for better performance.  If you are referring to electrical wiring harness, I would go with M&H wiring which unfortunately is only sold through Year One. :RantExplode:

wires as electrical system. i was told that i have "candlelight headlights" and that means the electric wires are tired being that they're 40 years old. they're not terrible but it was a suggestion for improvement on the car and it'd make all the lights and all brighter.

I have a new forward light harness and honestly, I did not see a difference when it was installed.  There is an upgrade where a relay is used to brighten up the headlights but aside from that, nothing other than crappy 1969 technology.
