And I thought Stacy David's Sgt. Rock was outrageous.

Now my favorite pickup is a Dodge Power Wagon of this vintage.  In fact, I've thought that a really neat kit vehicle would be a old power wagon body that you could bolt onto a modern Hemi Ram PU since the old ones are almost unobtainable now.  But spending the kind of $$ that it took to make this monster is almost blasphemous.  Building those Las Vegas clone cities and trucks like this is were all the $$ they are making from us for their oil seems to be going.  And when the oil runs out, they will be back to kicking camel dung again.

Some people have argued that the amount of wealth abruptly transferred into the OPEC nations during the last lifetime is historically unprecedented.    Not even the takeovers & empires all over the world hundreds/thousands of years ago ever resulted in such a drastic change in wealth in such a short period of time.

But the USA doesn't exactly have a lot of room to talk about wisely using wealth either.  OPEC zillionaires are making "Las Vegas clone cities" after we made Las Vegas itself.  (And we're the ones paying them for their product.)
