I need to run wiring to the trunk lock so I can use my power trunk release. Where would be good spot to tap in power, after alternator gauge, or?

I was going to run switch(button) in the glove box. It just grounds to the car. I'm not best electrician, so I'm not sure how I'd do it

Trunk switch is designed to run on 12v power....you will need to tap into pink wire from dome lights, or tap into fuse box that has 12v power all the time.

Find your hot 12v wire, then go to push switch, then go to trunk to solenoid for release

Some cars had trunk switch tapped into "key on" power when ignition switch is on....if car is off, they would just take keys and unlock trunk from outside.

I have vacuum release in the black 66 Charger, I had electric release in the 66 Dart we sold.
