Got some detonation!

Finally got my 496 inch RB and Keisler 4 speed auto installed.  I'll post pics of the install once I get all the bugs worked out.  Driving home from the shop that installed the transmission (about 30 miles in 80-85 degree weather), I got some audible detonation at part throttle under load.  Engine temp never exceed 180 or so.  I'm going to start with the easiest solution, putting fresh gas + octane boost in, but what should I do if that fails?  What are my next steps?  Thanks!

Remember the average response time to a 911 call is over 4 minutes.

The average response time of a 357 magnum is 1400 FPS.

Disconnect the vacuum advance if your running any.

Try and not "lug" the motor...IN Top gear (OD) with like 3.23 Gear, is gonna be a TALL gear when down low....

Too much timing or a lean condition at part throttle will induce detonation. The fuel curve needs to be dialed in .
