Awesome in every possible way. They took a risk with being nearly politically incorrect (some folks will actually be offended, but I won't say who (prius wackos, flag haters)).

I find it funny in a really good way. How often can I say this now-a-days: thank you Chrysler.:2thumbs:

At least the researchers got the British flag correct this time (not like some recent pirate movies). The flag doesnt have the diagonal cross until it was added in 1801

I didn't think it was that great. Whats the message?.... you beat the British!? What does that have to do with the fact that the U.S car companies are getting there a$$ handed to them now buy the Japanese, German's, hell even the Koreans are gaining ground! The flag waving, patriotic, "Made in the USA" approach has been used for years and yet people still shop at Walmart and buy crap made from every other country but the U.S.!

There....I feel better!

Just because there are a lot of thing screwed up here right now ,doesn't mean that those of us who take pride in what we do and believe in cant enjoy a little patriotic moment now and then.

That's kinda my point. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing that patriotic spirit. Although I am Canadian I have lived in the U.S and went to in school in Dearborn. I completely understand and get the patriotism Americans feel towards their country and everything it stands for, as well as loyalty to the products of Detroit. I just take issue with some marketing guy taking advantage of that with a cheesy ad to pedal cars because they have failed to project to the buying public the attributes of their products quality and designs. Instead they tug a little at your heart strings and it would seem try to make you feel buying their car is a duty to your country or something.
