Just curious if anyone on the board here has ever put an MSD ignition system on their mopar in a way that hides it completely from site. wires and all.

If so, some pictures around you engine bay to let me see would be really nice.

Thanks in advance.

Thats pretty cool. looks good.  but it was my plan to perhaps place it in the engine bay under the battery tray and then somehow route it out from that location to everything. Just want to see something similar for anyone else around here has done it perhaps this same way. I'm more interested how everything ended up looking like with the wire routing and all :icon_smile_wink:

Restoring a charger is like a saying I heard along time ago "I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it".... Jesus I wish I could remember who said that...

I mounted mine in the engine compartment but behind the horns.  With the radiotor now in - it's barely perceptible, yet easy to get to.  You can see it on the 3rd page of my resto thread:

That reminds me - I really need to update that thread - my car is only a few weeks away from driving....

I think that's true with most electrical components, however, I have numerous friends that have them mounted in the engine bay for years with no problems.

The average response time of a 357 magnum is 1400 FPS.

I hid mine ahead of the lt door hinges , it works well to have them there. You can see a picture of mine in my Daytona clone thread if you want, its on page28 almost half way down.

Dodge Don

Mine is hidden on top of the heater box under the dash. The wiring has runs through the clutch pedal plug and is hidden within the stock harness. The voltage regulator and ballast resistor are both on the firewall and wired up into the harness but the wires dead end....just there to look stock.

Mine is similar to Don's except it's under the driver's seat. Harness comes up under the left sill plate retainer & thru the unused clutch pedal plug. It's wrapped into the original harness, voltage regulator & ballast are dummy wired.
