I'm looking for the bottom rad hose with the spring in it, for a 70 charger 500 383-4barrel, Napa and the Part Source stores don't have it, what other part store in canada would have one?  thanks in advance.   Sly

I haven't seen many with springs in them for years. I usually put a used spring back in a new hose. I remember a thread on here where some people were buying the springs from a Mustang site I believe. I buy all my hoses from Gibson. Did you try a Chrysler dealer?

I got Gates hoses on mine....readily available out here...if ya need the numbers, let me know, I'll have to go out to garage and get them

Hi, Yes i did try Chrysler, not available, do you have the web site for gibson? Thanks  Sly

slyfox

I went round and round trying to find a anti-colapse spring.

No one seems to put them in radiators hoses anymore.

the Part Source store has one but it's flex hose one, i'm trying to keep the car as original as possible, i guess i'll try year one.   thanks

OK...my bad...I thought it was "Gates" brand....it's actually "Goodyear" brand radiator hose...

Lower hose - #60659 (is the same for both 22" & 26" radiators)
Upper hose - #60664 (should be the same if your 22" radiator has inlet on far passenger side)

thanks for help.   Sly

For a 2nd Gen with a 440, passenger side upper radiator hose inlet and Classic Auto Air, is the 60664 upper hose the correct part number? That number seems to have migrated from Goodyear to Continental somehow.

Assuming this is not just a generic photo, here's what it looks like.

Some time back, Bull posted a link for the lower radiator hose spring.  I bought a couple but they are still sitting in a bedroom waiting for me!

I make my own springs from 1/16" stainless welding rod wrapped around a pipe.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
