now where i circled in red it looks like the water jacket is way!! restricted ..im no pro but that just dont look right to me... could the water have gone up through the bolt hole??? there wasnt any in the cylinders...those particular head bolts didnt seem as tight as the others...this is a race motor with with a healthy cam but ,its sat the last ten years being started (per previous owner) once a month ,,,now im thinking thats probably the reason it was parked    oh well i guess im glad i tore it down now ....ill have the heads checked and go from there ..thanks for the input
