Rear Spring Bracket repair

Can the rear spring perch brackets be repaired?  During disassembly, one thread stripped and the other completely broke away.  The studs look welded to the bracket.  Has anyone repaired these in the past?

yes I fixed mine the force put on the shock is on the piece still there the threaded section just holds the nut and washer on. I cut the heads off 2 bolts the right size and thead. I then tapered the cut end so the welder would get good penitration and ended up about the diameter of the bolt when welded. I then filed the weld to about the correct diameter then ran a die on forward then backwards to clean up the threads and make enough threads near the end to get the nut tight. Been working fine for 10 years.

Mancini sells new shock plates and new studs, no need to waste time with fabbing something with the stuff out now adays.

Thanks for the source.  I think I will give the welding advice a go first.
