Hello

I just got my tranny back in the beast after getting it rebuilt and now I'm looking at putting in a rebuilt 6353 Hurst shifter.

Looks like Brewer's and Passion are good sources, has anyone had any experience with a rebuilt shifter from either of these companies?

Any recommendations?

Thanks for any help.

For what it's worth, I purchased a rebuilt Brewers Performance Hurst shifter to replace my Inland and like it very much. http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,67810.msg761546.html#msg761546

I bought all my tranny stuff from Brewers Performance . You can even talk to someone on the phone there that actually knows what going on. I'm very pleased with all my purchases from them.

I have had 2 transmissions rebuilt and 2 Hurst shifters rebuilt by Passon. They work very well.  I have had no issues with the service or quality of Jamie's work. I have had no experience with Brewers. I have never heard anything bad about Brewers.

Thanks for the input, guys.

Now that we're through winter I really want to get out there and go through the gears!

Brewers is good, never dealt with passion. But have known and dealt with Wayne Brewer for about 20 years. Straight up and Honest.

Jamie rebuilt my -833 and it shifts flawlessly.  He also rebuilt my original 68 Hurst shifter and no problems at all.  I had the trans rebuilt, it sat for over a year, then installed it and he still stands by the work with the full warranty.  Good guy.  Never dealt with Brewer's but have only heard good about them too.  With these two suppliers in the biz, you can check off the box for "trans redo" as a no brainer no matter who you choose!  :2thumbs:
