im looking at installing a cam in my 360, i have looked around and cant find all the info i need. and since you guys are so knowledgeable i figured a thread could be put together for all the guys who dont know much about installing a cam. starting with what size cam for the application and what is recommended. also a good step by step of how to install and any issues a guy doing this in his driveway might encounter.
for instance im looking for a cam that will give my basically stock 360 the most power without having to change too many other components. and ive never installed a cam. what will i need to do?

I'm guessing you already did the Goggle search, right? http://www.ehow.com/how_2303379_install-camshaft-hot-rod.html

What other info do you need?  :scratchchin:  How about this? http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,69558.0.html

Have a great time, take your time, and takes lots of pictures so we can admire the work.

Edit - Ah, what size cam you need is one of your questions. Perhaps Ron will chime in later....

thanks, i tried searching, couldnt find that stuff. i was also wondering about degreeing the cam, ive seen it mentioned and was wondering about that too.

cam degreeing is essential.....there are websites that can give you step by step mathematics to do such....based on the cam card.  i.e.  centerline....stuff like that   with heads on...or without
