Yard work lately.
I was out in the yard earlier but the wind started getting to me.

I have friends down in Lodi so going to the A&W was a good reason to have dinner with them.

Thanks for posting pics Steve. I had to miss the cruise 'cause the Runner is still on the sidelines.

The end of season A&W cruise/show is on October 24th. I went last year and had a blast. Over 200 cars and the best trophys ever. They were giant A&W mugs with the category plaque mounted on the mug. It may sound corny but it was the coolest thing. I plan on the show again this year.

The end of season show is a fundraiser for the Boy Scouts. Maybe we can get a draw of Mopar members from around Northern Cal. Mark those calenders. Lodi is easy to get to and nice country roads from all locations.

I heard the owner of the A&W make a comment about the owner of the car going in and stuffing the ballot box every ten minutes or so.  So I guess that makes it a persons choice award.

When the award was announced that the 49er painted Charger won everyone was looking around wondering what car that was. Several people looked at me and said "Isn't that your Charger?" I said "No mine is Red they are talking about the Charger way over in the far corner"

The part that tickled my funny bone was then the owner went to leave and had to rotate his headlights open with his hands.

There were much nicer cars that were there, even nicer than mine that deserved to win like a true fire painted Plymouth Belvedere. They actually gave out two 2nd place awards that the Belvedere and a Polara recieved. I'm not sure why the owner gave them the award if he knew they stuffed the box.

To each his own, if you can stuff the ballot box and get away with it more power to you.
