Hi, I aquired a newer (72ish) alternator for my car (68) which I had rebuilt. The guy grounded one of the terminals to make it single field. I since have forgot which one he grounded? He left both wire studs there. I think thats how I managed to burn out my voltage reg anyways.  So I used my multi meter and from the one post to the alt body im showing zero resistance and the other post to the body I have 7 ohms.. So I would assume I should prob be plugging into the terminal with 7 ohms instead from now on?  The wire I am talking about is the green field wire on the 68. Thanks for any info
