OK so I have been looking at 73/74 Charger SE's and almost EVERY one I find has white vinyl with white opera windows. Well this is a problem seeing I want my Charger to be triple black. So is there a dye/paint you can buy to change the colour of the vinyl and louvers? What should the colour be? As i said the car will be triple black and I want black vinyl. This is a just incase I find a good SE with a good vinyl top and louvers and if they are white...

If I want to dye/paint the top what kind of dye should I buy? Also I would like black like the black vinyl tops/covers they have on the 73 SE.

Everything that was green on mine to match the ugly green vinyl top was painted black also. The body shops do not charge that much to paint if you have them ready to spray.

Yes, you can buy vinyl dye from any automotive supplier. I did mine after I BUTCHERED by getting glue and stuff on it, what a nightmare! Anyway I think it was SEM, worked fine but I'd also recomment to just change out the top withteh proper color, especially if it's old

Just replace the top with the color and grain pattern you perfer. I did mine myself with a new top from legendary and a couple of cans of 3M spray glue.
Take your time and mark all the holes and remember that the new top will stretch a little as you pull it to get the wrinkles and air bubbles out.

Looks awesome! What color is that? Is it satin black? I found that as a SEM product but Im not sure what color I should get... I want it to be a black dye. To make it look like the black 73 SE vinyl tops.
