I am trying to pull the oil pan from the 69 Daytona.  I have it unbo;ted but can get it down.  I have a 440/727.  Can some one help me out?  I think I will need to unbolt at least one moter mount but I am not sure.  If so do I unbolt it from the ears on the block or from the k frame?  Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure on a 2nd gen. But you should be able to get by with removing the center link, unbolting the motor and jacking it off the k-frame enough to slip the oil pan out.

If I remember right, make sure the engine is rotated so the forward journals (1 & 2) are up in the block as far as they will go, then you should be able to pull the pan without loosening anything else.

On my 69 charger with the 383, I was able to undo the center link and swing it out of the way and then just unbolt and drop the oil pan down.  I also have a 402 pan on there and have a spare if anyone needs it.
