****EDIT****

Im just reusing this thread so there wouldnt be a need for a new one.

Part in question:

Hey guys,
I'm putting the 1/4 windows in and when I got to the drivers side, I discovered it will only crank one way. It came off the teeth but it still will only go the same way and is rock hard when you try and turn it the other way. Any ideas?

usually its the 'back-to-back' guide pulley towards the rear of the assm. (69) also, the rear glass stop has a very long bolt which sticks out and may cause the window to stop raising... :shruggy:

Thanks for the reply! I drilled out the rivets and took apart the inside. Turns out it was a broken tab on the spring that.
Ive got another question though: what is this bracket for and where does it go???

That's the vent window support bracket. It bolts to the inside of the door at the front up top, and the front arm of the vent window assembly gets bolted to that.
